Kevin Foos
Mr. Kevin Foos, a proud 2005 graduate of the University of Toledo, majoring in vocal music education. While an undergraduate student at the University, Kevin was an upcoming baritone in the Department of Music and Dance. Having been a student of Erik Johanson and Barbara Rondelli Perry, Kevin spent most of his college career studying the works of G.F. Handel's Messiah. These studies would land Kevin the position of baritone soloist for the Defiance College performance of Handel’s Messiah for six years. This would pave the way for him to perform with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra and the Toledo Choral Society at the renowned Toledo Museum of Art’s, Peristyle Theater. Kevin has also made appearances with the Choral Society in their Christmas concerts as well as spring concerts as a featured soloist and most recently as guest conductor for both concerts and rehearsals.
As a student at E. L. Bowsher High School, Kevin began his professional career singing the Faure Requiem at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. Kevin also had been chosen as one of eight Americans to travel to Budapest, Hungary to perform and teach. In 2004, Kevin made his first appearance with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra for a concert of French origin that took place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he was the Director of Music for five years. Kevin would then move on to the Director of Liturgy & Music position at St. Pius X Catholic Church as well as K-8 general music teacher and Dean of Students. In 2013 Kevin arrived at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish as Director of Liturgy, Music & Marketing
Most recently in 2023, Kevin was appointed Director of Liturgy & Music as well as Pastoral Associate at Gesu Catholic Church, where he directs the Gesu adult choir, and works with the office staff on digital and social media to promote the various events of the parish among many other projects.

When not on the organ bench, Kevin enjoys spending time with his two children, Ethan 11 and Olivia 8. Together, they spend many weekends at his parents cottage on Long Lake in Coldwater, MI. It is there Kevin finds his “happy place” spending time with his children and parents doing what they love most, fishing and boating.
