Interested singers are invited to join us for a rehearsal to meet our Members, Board, Artistic Director, Accompanist, and check out some of our repertoire for the season

A vocal audition will be necessary for acceptance into
The Toledo Choral Society

The vocal audition for membership into the Toledo Choral Society may include the following:

​

 

Vocalization:   Extension of range to determine your vocal placement.

​

Aural Retention:  Singing back (recalling) a succession of pitches played from the piano.

 

Sight Reading

 

 

Members will also be responsible for a yearly membership fee ($110 for 2025-2026 season, subject to change),  music rentals or purchases ($20 refundable music deposit plus $10 music fee), as well as performance attire (tuxes, black dress pants and black dress shirt, or chosen performance attire) Members are also required to attend a specific number of rehearsals prior to each performance. This requirement is set yearly by the director.
